Board Member & Board Representative Nomination Form

This form allows a member company to:

  • Stand for election to the IAB MENA Board of Directors
  • Nominate an individual to represent the company on the Board
  • Request a replacement for the current Board representative

Saving a draft of this form to be finished, reviewed and/or submitted later is not supported. We recommend preparing the answers before starting to fill in the form.

Should you wish to make amendments after submission, complete and submit the form again within 24 hours from the previous submission. The most recent submission will be considered valid. For any modifications after this deadline, send an email to [email protected].

Board Elections: Board Member Nomination, Board Representative Profile and Nomination, and Voting Process

Every two years, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB MENA) holds elections for its Board of Directors. Eligible members interested in serving on the Board and standing for election are invited to complete this form. Please ensure the form is submitted within the deadlines specified in the mailer outlining the election timeline and General Assembly details.

Instructions:

  • Complete and submit the online nomination form hereunder. Members standing for election must hold a valid IAB MENA Premium membership and by taking part they agree to the Board of Directors Election Rules.
  • Candidates standing for election for Board Member must have read the Board Member Nomination Pack, and the IAB MENA Governance Framework and sign the declaration below. Only online submitted forms will be considered during the establishment of the nomination list.
  • Groups are only entitled to one nomination per group. A group is more than one company under the same ownership legally or affiliated with a group. Members of the same group should coordinate among themselves which nomination to put forward before completing this form.
  • Members are invited at the same time to nominate the person that will represent the company on the Board of Directors and select the committees the representative would like to participate if they are elected. The representative should comply with the criteria of the Ideal Board Member Profile. More details on expectations and responsibilities can be found here.
  • The vote will be conducted as per the voting regulations outlined in the IAB MENA Governance Framework and the Board of Directors Election Rules.

Nomination Deadline

Please ensure all nominations are submitted by the deadline specified in the mailer. Nominations received after this deadline will not be considered.

The timestamp will determine the exact time of submission and will be used to verify compliance with the deadline.

Member Company Standing for Election

I, the undersigned and duly authorized representative of the member company holding a valid Premium membership, hereby nominate the company below to stand for election to the IAB MENA Board of Directors for the upcoming two-year term.

Nomination and voting is per member company not individuals.

Board Member Identification

I, the undersigned and duly authorized representative of the member company identified below, holding a valid Premium Membership, hereby appoint a new Board Representative to the IAB MENA Board of Directors for the remaining term.

 

Board Representative Nomination

The nominated Board Representative should comply with the criteria of the Ideal Board Member Profile. More details on expectations and responsibilities can be found here.

I, the undersigned, being a duly authorized representative of the member company holding a valid Premium Membership with IAB MENA, hereby appoint the individual named below to serve as our official Representative on the IAB MENA Board of Directors, for the duration of the term or until such appointment is formally revoked by us.

Provide the WhatsApp number to be used to add the Board Representative to the official IAB MENA Board communication group.
Provide the official title of the job position to be featured on the IAB MENA Board of Directors webpage.

Maximum file size: 2.1MB

Provide a high-resolution portrait photo to be featured on the IAB MENA Board of Directors webpage. Ideal file size range 300 KB to 1 MB with 1000-1500 pixels in width and 1500-2000 pixels in height. Accepted file formats: .jpeg, .png.
Provide a concise, executive-level biography to be featured on the IAB MENA Board of Directors webpage.
Highlight the unique experience or value the nominated representative will bring to the IAB MENA Board of Directors in max 200 words.
