Mentoring and being mentored has an important role in developing your own skills and enhancing workplace connections & wellbeing.

Join us ‘In Conversation with…Maya Rmeity’, where we will be discussing how mentorships can help to drive career experiences both for the mentor and mentee in an increasingly diverse workplace.

During this in-person session, open to members, you will have the opportunity to network with colleagues and learn how mentorship, both formal and informal can foster an inclusive and supportive culture.

Discussion will focus on how mentorship can help to drive career experiences both for the mentor and mentee in an increasingly diverse workplace; the power of human connection and social good in personal wellbeing and professional advancement; mentoring essentials beyond the basics; and formalizing mentorship through structuring for personal success.

Ian is currently the Acting CEO of the IAB MENA, having worked with other industry leaders to establish it in MENA. He has had the privilege of working in multiple roles across multiple markets over his 20+years. This included leading global clients for Agencies in London, as CEO for an Agency in South Africa and recently as Head of Agency Partnerships for Facebook in the MENA region.

An accomplished Inclusion & Diversity Advisor. Maya is a force in fostering an inclusive and healthy workplace. With a global network, she collaborates with organizations like UN Women, NAMA, Nokia, Sodexo, EGA, Schneider Electrics, Remax, and RX Global, crafting tailored DEI strategies. She empowers talent through workshops and mentoring initiatives. Her commitment to gender equality shines through her leadership at UN Women and NAMA flagship program in the UAE. Maya holds a doctoral degree in Business Administration from Paris Dauphine University. With a strong focus on empowering workforce culture, Dr. Maya is also a co-founder of impactiv, a social enterprise that is to empower organizations with transformative mentoring programs.
