Ian is currently the Executive Director of the IAB MENA, having worked with other industry leaders to establish it in MENA. He has had the privilege of working in multiple roles across multiple markets over his 20+years. This included leading global clients for Agencies in London, as CEO for an Agency in South Africa and recently as Head of Agency Partnerships for Facebook in the MENA region.

Michel MalkounChair of the Board of Directors, IAB MENA & CGO, Choueiri Group
Michel Malkoun is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of IAB MENA and the Chief Growth Officer at Choueiri Group. Before that he was the Chief Operating Officer at DMS – the digital media arm of the Choueiri Group. No stranger to the media scene, Michel has amassed a notable career, encompassing some of the most prominent regional media groups. Prior to this, Michel spent a decade with the region’s top broadcasters (MBC Group).

Richard Fitzgerald is CEO and Founder of Augustus Media, an award-winning modern media company in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, publishers of Lovin Dubai, Lovin Saudi and Smashi. Former Regional Head of Social Media for Mindshare MENA, Richard founded Augustus Media in 2015 has grown the business to $5m annual turnover and 50 employees with offices in Cairo, Riyadh and Dubai to become one of the leading modern media companies in the region.

Christos SolomiChief Digital Officer, OMG
Chris Solomi is the Chair of the IAB MENA Research & Measurement Committee and Omnicom Media Group MENA’s Chief Digital Officer. He oversees OMG’s overall digital offering across it multiple divisions and practices including Digital Media, Analytics and E-Commerce. His 20 year career has included roles at media supplier, agency and client side and experience leading teams in Performance Marketing, Ad Tech, Programmatic, Analytics and E-Commerce.

Victoria LoeschManaging Partner, GroupM | Mindshare
While starting her career in her home country of South Africa, Victoria has spent more than half her 25 year media career in the MENA region. The majority of it within the Mindshare network at Mindshare Dubai, Cairo, & in a MENA strategy role before embracing the newly created role of Managing Partner in 2019.
Victoria is responsible for overseeing strategy development and implementation + adaptation of Mindshare global thinking/tools as well as all Mindshare specializations in terms of product and team across performance, social & content, new business, data analytics and research.
The portfolios in her career history range from FMCG (Unilever) to Telecom/Tech (ZAIN, Samsung) to Travel (IHG, ETA) & more have ensured she has built an in-depth understanding of cross category & market expertise.
