Christos SolomiChief Digital Officer, OMG
Chris Solomi is the Chair of the IAB MENA Research & Measurement Committee and Omnicom Media Group MENA’s Chief Digital Officer. He oversees OMG’s overall digital offering across it multiple divisions and practices including Digital Media, Analytics and E-Commerce. His 20 year career has included roles at media supplier, agency and client side and experience leading teams in Performance Marketing, Ad Tech, Programmatic, Analytics and E-Commerce.

Sebastian JoziasseHead of Global Partnerships, MENA, Google
Sebastian is representing Google on the IAB MENA Board of Directors. He moved from his country of birth, the Netherlands, to the UAE in 2011. Since then, he advised Media, Telecom and Technology clients throughout the Middle East, Africa and Asia for Booz & Company (known as Strategy & today).
In 2015 Sebastian joined Google in the Large Partnerships organization, a team tasked with supporting Publishers with advertising monetization on Google’s ad stack. Since then, Sebastian held several strategic business development positions, led all account representatives across EMEA’s Emerging Markets (including Russia, Turkey, Israel, the Middle East and Africa) and since mid 2022 heads up the large publisher business across the Middle East and Africa.

Mohamad ItaniHead of Agency Development, Amazon Ads
Mohamad is the Chair of the IAB MENA Ecosystem & Channel Development Committee and is representing Amazon Ads on the Board of Directors. He has spent his entire career till date in digital and tech across the MENA Region. Coming from an agency background, Mohamad played a crucial part in developing digital platforms and practices including Search, Video, Mobile, Programmatic and data solutions for various agency groups, the latest being MCN/IPG which he served most of his career. During the various roles, he was commissioned to establish the digital practice across key markets including UAE, KSA and Egypt.

Joanne ChehabHead of Business Partnerships MENA, Bytedance | TikTok
Joanne is representing Bytedance | TikTok on the IAB MENA Board of Directors and is currently leading the business partnerships team for Services in MENA, building and growing ByteDance and TikTok’s footprint with key brands/players. Her scope spans across various industries such as Telco & Media, Government, Travel & Tourism, Financial Services & Real Estate.
Prior to TikTok, Joanne worked at McKinsey & Company and Google, where she led private equity engagements and transformation programs with multi-entity owners (SWFs, FOBs, conglomerates), and drove priority strategy and sales acceleration projects, respectively.

Ian ManningExecutive Director, IAB MENA
Ian is currently the Executive Director of the IAB MENA, having worked with other industry leaders to establish it in MENA. He has had the privilege of working in multiple roles across multiple markets over his 20+years. This included leading global clients for Agencies in London, as CEO for an Agency in South Africa and recently as Head of Agency Partnerships for Facebook in the MENA region.

Michel MalkounChair of the Board of Directors, IAB MENA & CGO, Choueiri Group
Michel Malkoun is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of IAB MENA and the Chief Growth Officer at Choueiri Group. Before that he was the Chief Operating Officer at DMS – the digital media arm of the Choueiri Group. No stranger to the media scene, Michel has amassed a notable career, encompassing some of the most prominent regional media groups. Prior to this, Michel spent a decade with the region’s top broadcasters (MBC Group).

Dr. Daniel KnappChief Economist, IAB Europe
Daniel has more than 15 years of international experience in advertising research and forecasting. Before being appointed as Chief Economist of IAB Europe, he was Executive Director for Advertising Research at global information company, IHS Markit. Daniel’s research areas span all domains of digital advertising, with emphasis in video, programmatic, platform economics, the business application of AI/ML technologies, agency transformation, and buy- and sell-side optimization.
