Ian is currently the Executive Director of the IAB MENA, having worked with other industry leaders to establish it in MENA. He has had the privilege of working in multiple roles across multiple markets over his 20+years. This included leading global clients for Agencies in London, as CEO for an Agency in South Africa and recently as Head of Agency Partnerships for Facebook in the MENA region.
Michel Malkoun is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of IAB MENA and the Chief Growth Officer at Choueiri Group. Before that he was the Chief Operating Officer at DMS – the digital media arm of the Choueiri Group. No stranger to the media scene, Michel has amassed a notable career, encompassing some of the most prominent regional media groups. Prior to this, Michel spent a decade with the region’s top broadcasters (MBC Group).
Daniel has more than 15 years of international experience in advertising research and forecasting. Before being appointed as Chief Economist of IAB Europe, he was Executive Director for Advertising Research at global information company, IHS Markit. Daniel’s research areas span all domains of digital advertising, with emphasis in video, programmatic, platform economics, the business application of AI/ML technologies, agency transformation, and buy- and sell-side optimization.
Chris Solomi is the Chair of the IAB MENA Research & Measurement Committee and Omnicom Media Group MENA’s Chief Digital Officer. He oversees OMG’s overall digital offering across it multiple divisions and practices including Digital Media, Analytics and E-Commerce. His 20 year career has included roles at media supplier, agency and client side and experience leading teams in Performance Marketing, Ad Tech, Programmatic, Analytics and E-Commerce.
With an 18-year track record, Rasha is currently the Head of Agency at Snap. She has played a vital role in shaping the company’s regional strategy, fostering significant growth, and building enduring client relationships, particularly in Luxury and Travel.
Rasha began her career in 2005 at Leo Burnett in Dubai, rising to Group Communication Director by 2016. During her tenure, she earned numerous accolades, including a Silver Effie (2009), Leo Burnett Worldwide Star Reacher Award (2011), a Bronze Effie (2015), and Silver/Bronze Lynx awards (2016).
Since 2020, Rasha has represented Snap Inc. MENA on the board of the Unstereotype Alliance, a UN Women program combating gender bias in advertising. She also supports the SnapWomen Employee Resource Group (ERG) in driving Snap’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) agenda.
Nisrine is a multi-award-winning business leader with over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, media, management, and content (production, acquisition & distribution) in MENA region and has worked in leadership positions for some of the region’s leading brands.
She has turned around under-performing companies by evaluating their value proposition, their marketing and branding efforts and their go-to-market strategies and has worked on launching, relaunching, branding, rebranding and repositioning some of the regions most loved brands, delivering outstanding results in record timings.
Elie, a digital marketing trailblazer and Publicis Groupe veteran, has navigated a dynamic career spanning supply chain consulting to performance marketing and commerce. Since joining Publicis Media MENA in 2012, he pioneered a Social Media Performance practice, transformed into a regional powerhouse, and later led operations and client engagement for the Groupe’s programmatic trading desk. As the Head of Commerce from 2018, Elie established a thriving unit, contributing to remarkable growth.
In 2020, Elie assumed the role of VP of Product Development for Publicis Groupe’s global commerce team, leading the groundbreaking “Commerce Intelligence” platform. He played a key role in integrating Commerce Intelligence into Profitero’s suite of products post-acquisition in 2022.
Elie’s global impact continued with his leadership in Publicis Media’s performance practice, focusing on driving new business and organic growth through performance innovation until 2023. Currently, he is the Chief Performance Officer for Publicis Media, driving growth and transformation in the Middle East’s Performance media ecosystem.
With over 14 years of expertise in the MENA region, Jad has played a pivotal role in digital transformations across a spectrum of industries, including destination marketing, tourism, telecommunications, automotive, FMCG, retail, and governmental entities. His strategic prowess at Starcom KSA resulted in substantial business growth and winning flagship global accounts. Currently at MMS, he leads a team dedicated to connecting partners with opportunities on MBC Group’s digital platforms, driving collective growth.
