Members are cordially invited to attend the forthcoming IAB MENA Annual Ordinary General Assembly Meeting, an in-person event reserved for member companies only.
It’s a unique opportunity to reflect on the extraordinary year we’ve had in 2023-2024, participate in planning our activities for the upcoming year, elect a new Board of Directors, and engage in networking.
Please note that to vote at the meeting, you must be the authorized representative for the member company. In the event the Lead | Head | CEO of the member or the authorized representative as indicated on the membership application form cannot attend the General Assembly, the Lead | Head | CEO should appoint a representative to represent the member and vote at the General Assembly. This can be done by completing the online Nomination of Authorized Representative form before 12:00pm on February 19, 2024. That said, every one is invited to attend but only the designated authorized representative can vote.

Ian is currently the Executive Director of the IAB MENA, having worked with other industry leaders to establish it in MENA. He has had the privilege of working in multiple roles across multiple markets over his 20+years. This included leading global clients for Agencies in London, as CEO for an Agency in South Africa and recently as Head of Agency Partnerships for Facebook in the MENA region.
Michel Malkoun is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of IAB MENA and the Chief Growth Officer at Choueiri Group. Before that he was the Chief Operating Officer at DMS – the digital media arm of the Choueiri Group. No stranger to the media scene, Michel has amassed a notable career, encompassing some of the most prominent regional media groups. Prior to this, Michel spent a decade with the region’s top broadcasters (MBC Group).
Daniel has more than 15 years of international experience in advertising research and forecasting. Before being appointed as Chief Economist of IAB Europe, he was Executive Director for Advertising Research at global information company, IHS Markit. Daniel’s research areas span all domains of digital advertising, with emphasis in video, programmatic, platform economics, the business application of AI/ML technologies, agency transformation, and buy- and sell-side optimization.
Chris Solomi is the Chair of the IAB MENA Research & Measurement Committee and Omnicom Media Group MENA’s Chief Digital Officer. He oversees OMG’s overall digital offering across it multiple divisions and practices including Digital Media, Analytics and E-Commerce. His 20 year career has included roles at media supplier, agency and client side and experience leading teams in Performance Marketing, Ad Tech, Programmatic, Analytics and E-Commerce.
Mohamad is the Chair of the IAB MENA Ecosystem & Channel Development Committee and is representing Amazon Ads on the Board of Directors. He has spent his entire career till date in digital and tech across the MENA Region. Coming from an agency background, Mohamad played a crucial part in developing digital platforms and practices including Search, Video, Mobile, Programmatic and data solutions for various agency groups, the latest being MCN/IPG which he served most of his career. During the various roles, he was commissioned to establish the digital practice across key markets including UAE, KSA and Egypt.
With 22 years of experience in Media and Marketing, she has invested dedication and passion in her field of expertise, proudly leading Havas Media. She overseas the media operation across the region, while reinforcing the agency’s mission to unite people and brands through meaningful connections.
Ayman Haydar is a trailblazer in the dynamic AdTech landscape, with a career dedicated to advertising and a profound enthusiasm for technology. As the CEO of DigitAll, he continues to bring his wealth of expertise and transformative leadership to drive innovation and excellence in the ever-evolving landscape of digital advertising.
In his previous role as the Chief Executive Officer at MMP World Wide (MMPWW), a distinguished ad tech provider spanning EMEA and APAC, Ayman orchestrated a paradigm shift. Under his leadership, MMPWW became synonymous with comprehensive full-funnel targeting and precision marketing solutions, setting new standards in the dynamic AdTech landscape.
