Organization Types' Descriptions

Publisher: An organization or company that owns a digital content property with an audience, including but not limited to apps or websites.

Media (Sales) House: An organization or company that sells advertising on behalf of other media owners and publishers.

Agency: An organization or business that specializes in providing advertising services such as planning, buying, analytics, process or adtech consulting and/or developing advertising on behalf of advertisers, whether through the use of technology or human endeavour.

Advertiser (Client): An organization or business that commissions and/or pays for the advertising whether through a third party such as an agency or sales house, or direct with the publisher.

Tech: An organization or businesses whose primary advertising revenues are generated through a proprietary digital product or platform.

Research (& Measurement): An organization or business primarily involved in research related to consumers or advertising, or in the measurement of advertising, audiences or campaign performance, regardless if this is conducted through proprietary technology or not.
