The IAB MENA conducted its General Assembly on Feb 18, 2025, highlighting 2024 activities and achievements and outlining initial plans for 2025

The IAB MENA conducted its General Assembly on Feb 18, 2025, highlighting 2024 activities and achievements and outlining initial plans for 2025.  Attended by over 100 staff of member companies, the event also gave members the opportunity to discuss their thoughts, needs and provide suggestions for focus areas in the future.

Key highlights of the 2024 year included a wide range of outputs and activites:

  • 5 Guides and Reports
  • 4 Research and Insights releases
  • 4 Events
  • 4 MENA Voices releases
  • 3 ECOScapes
  • 9 Masterclasses

 

For 2025,  IAB MENA announced a continuation of the existing strategy of varied topics and outputs, but added that in addition to Taskforce led initiatives, 2025 would have more focus on member events, such as the Growth Summit in April,  as well as additional initiatives such as a the launch of a mentor programme and a project to support the local publisher ecosystem.

The initial plans for 2025 include amongst others:

  • 5 Guides and Reports
  • 5 Insights initiatives plus an additional Adspend initiative looking at the Evolution of Adspend decisions
  • 4 MENAVoices releases
  • 2 ECOScapes
  • 6 Events including the member ‘Growth Summit’ and 2 ‘in Conversation with…’ personal development sessions
  • 12 Masterclasses
  • Mentorship Programme
  • Local Publisher Ecosystem initiative
