IAB MENA releases the next video series, this time to showcase roles in Content Marketing

As part of the second series of MENAVOICES – A Day In The Life… we heard from specialists in Data Analytics and in Performance Marketing over the past two weeks.

In this release we hear from Content Creators, such as Lina, a Content Marketing Specialist and from Andrew, a Website Front-end Designer.

For many that are new to the digital marketing industry or trying to break into the industry, the plethora of roles, titles and positions can seem daunting and confusing. Members of the IAB have joined together to demystify the roles and their descriptions through a video series, entitled MENAVOICES – A Day In The Life… We get to meet young talent from different parts of the industry and better understand what they do on a daily basis. They share some of the best parts of their jobs alongside some of the challenges and frustrations with an abundance of tips for success.

A must watch for anyone looking to know more about entering the world of Digital Media and Marketing in MENA.

Content Marketing - Lina Abdelaziz
In this episode, Lina shares with us the role of a Content Marketer. She shares how her role is a mix of idea generation, pitching ideas to clients and followup with the Creative Team to ensure it's executed on time and on budget. She loves the opportunity to work with so many different parts of the company and to learn from their unique experiences.
Front-end Web Developer - Andrew Zakhary
We hear from Andrew who shares how his role is about collaborating with different teams to allow him to create and develop engaging content for client websites. He tells us that working to develop concepts from scratch and go on to see them go live is a motivating aspect of the role.
